At Speedwell we take your data privacy very seriously and as such have a Data Privacy Statement that details how we use, store and share your data. We only use your data to administer your account and to provide the products and services that you have requested from us.

We may share your data with carefully selected 3rd parties to ensure the ongoing safety and care of your vehicle, such as the vehicle manufacturer. For a full list please see terms below. We explicitly do not sell your personal information onto 3rd parties.

Under the regulations you have the right to request copies of your data as well as rectification, erasure, object to the use of or restrict the use of your data and where our systems allow, to request electronic access to copies of your data in digital format.

Q. Why do you need my details again?

A. Due to the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) effective from 25th May 2018, we now require your explicit consent to contact you, we may need to inform you about important news regarding your vehicle, but would also would like to keep you up to date with our latest fantastic offers, so you don't miss out.

Q. I did not receive my welcome email.

A. Please make sure to check your email junk inbox. Online email providers, especially gmail and hotmail may have aggressive spam filtering in place, make sure to whitelist us, there is usually an option somewhere to add us to your safe senders list.

Q. How do I update my optin preferences?

A. When you first subscribe you are sent an email containing your data we store about you, within this email there is also a personalised link to update your optin preferences at any time online. For any other data changes, such as address, vehicle or other changes, please use our contact page. Make sure to select the correct "reason for contacting us" drop down link.

Q. How do request a copy of my data?

A. You can request a copy of your data at any time on our website by clicking this link.

Q. I have deleted the email containing my data, how do retrieve my information?

A. As above, you can request a copy of your data at any time on our website by clicking this link. You will need the email address you last signed up with and your postal code.

Q. Who are the third parties you work with?

A. Depending on which branch you have dealt with, selected third parties where applicable, include Honda UK, Kia Motors, Motability, Autotrader, Autoglym, Honda Finance, Honda Care, Kia Finance, WMS Warranty Group, Black Horse, Dealerweb, ETL Solutions, Auto Connect, CDK Global and other carefully selected partners we work with.

Q. I do not have an email address, can I still sign-up?

A. You can still signup by entering "noemail" as your email address on the sign-up page, however you will not be able to update your preferences yourself. We encourage all users, that have online access to setup an email address for free online, For example: Gmail, Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL and many others offer free accounts.
